In two ways: 1) automatic post-primary antibody processing (half-a-day): from the first antibody washing to imaging-ready, including the secondary antibody incubation, this device D2001 can process 8 blot strips. 2) automatic post-gel transfer processing (overnight): from membrane blocking to imaging-ready, this device D2001 can process 2 blots including both the primary and secondary antibody incubations.

The device D2001 can process blots from 2cm x 1cm to 14cm x 9cm by selecting suitable sized trays.

The device D2001 uses 2 ~ 35mL antibody solutions depending on the trays fitted on the device.

Yes. The device D2001 can be operated in a cold room or refrigerator.

When an antibody is diluted in a skim milk or BSA solution, it gradually loses its activity over time. Antibody Stabilizer (R2010) keeps antibodies intact during prolonged storage even at higher temperature (such as room temperature or 37℃). Please check the test result here.

Yes. The KwikBlot device can use all users' existing protocols.

Yes. The antibodies are recovered after each experiment. If the antibody solutions contain Antibody Stabilizer R2010, they can be reused many times.

KwikBlot Wash Buffer R2001 is the standard TBST buffer with a corrosion inhibitor. The corrosion inhibitor provides extra protection on the internal metal valves.

Yes. However, high salt concentration (≥0.2M NaCl) in the wash buffer is not recommended.

Yes. The device D2001 can use any blocking and antibody dilution buffers on the device.

The internal metal valves work in a salty, wet environment. A cleaning step is required after each experiment. If the device is flushed using the designated Cleaning Solution R2018, we provide lifetime warranty services. Not using R2018 voids the lifetime warranty. The warranty does not cover mis-use of the device, such as physical damages by force.

After we receive the online trial request form, which also serves as the quotation of the evaluation package including a new device D2001, accessories and all the recommended reagents, we will ship the package to the delivery address. The user can evaluate the system for 14 days. If the user is satisfied with the result, he/she will keep the device and send us a purchase order. We will waive the reagent and shipping costs. If the user is not satisfied with the result, he/she can return the device using the included return label. There is only one free trial opportunity for each delivery address.
